World’s First Pokemaster has caught 142 Pokemon

The race to catch them all is over. As the world’s first Pokemaster, a NYC player has caught 142 Pokemon in just a few weeks. Going by the reddit handle of ftb_hodor, he now has the biggest collection of Pokemon in the world. According to the PokemonGoDev subreddit, there is a total of 151 Pokemon currently in the game.

By catching 142 the world’s first Pokemaster is now ready to locate the missing Pokemon. Some of the rare Pokemon he is missing include; Mr Mime, Kangaskhan and Farfetch’d, Articuno, Ditto, Mew, Mewtwo, Moltres and Zapdos.

Members of the PokemonGoDev Reddit group have cracked the code on how to find Pokemon. This information has even led them to discover where some of the more rare Pokemon are. If you are having a hard time tracking down your favorite Pokemon, you could stand to take some pointers from this guy.

World’s First Pokemaster has caught 142 Pokemon

According to multiple users, three of the missing Pokemon out of his collection are region locked within the US. If the world’s first Pokemaster wants Mr Mime, Kangaskhan or Farfetch’d he’ll have to go traveling. Many hackers have tracked the code for these rare Pokemon. Farfetch’d is exclusive to the Asian continent while Kangaskhan has been sighted in Australia and Mr Mime in Europe.

Like many other hardcore Pokemon Go players, the first Pokemaster has invested full time hours. He’s caught 4,269 total Pokemon and traveled over 95 miles on foot. With over 300 eggs hatched and at level 31, the first Pokemaster is serious about catching them all. He also credits the four Pokestops that are located across the way from Central Park as being an integral part of his success.
